SAIT School of Construction

Case study: Bringing post-secondary dreams to life with video production

Learning beyond the classroom

The Southern Alberta Institute of Technology is a post-secondary educational institution built on passion shared by both its faculty and students. Renowned for its focus on practical and real-world experience, SAIT uses its strong partnerships with government, businesses and other post-secondary institutions to give students the skills and connections they need to succeed in local, national and global industries. With its focus on practical, real-life experiences, it was no surprise to us when SAIT wanted to show students the benefits of their programs - rather than simply telling them.

Showing students the potential

Using real students, faculty, alumni and industry professionals, we produced a series of promotional videos for various programs within SAIT’s School of Construction. These videos focused on showing future students the potential and possibilities within their chosen fields. Focusing on SAIT’s already established reputation for hands on, applied learning, we gave future students a glimpse of what their futures could be - both professionally and as a student at SAIT.

The project featured videos produced for 4 distinct programs, each with multiple versions for web, social media, and digital advertising. Below are the 60 second cuts for the Geomatics Engineering Technology Program, and the Process Piping Drafting Fast Track Program.
