Case study: Producing a broadcast quality virtual sales conference

Canadian Tire's Sherwood Hockey is a brand that challenges the status quo and pushes boundaries so that the game of hockey can grow. Looking to bring their annual tradeshow online, Sherwood approached Maven for broadcast and virtual event production services.

Designing a premium virtual experience

We worked closely alongside the Sherwood team to develop a highly engaging virtual experience. Pre-production included organizing video content, designing broadcast graphics, virtual platform development, technical planning, and set preparation.

Two days, two sets

The two-day production involved 4k cameras, an 8-person broadcast crew, both live and remote presenters, presentations and pre-recorded content, and high-quality live stream management. The goal was to get hands-on with the products and enable with live questions and active audience engagement throughout the show.

A sales success

The sales conference was broadcast live to internal & external stakeholders around the world, helping to launch Sherwood Hockey’s line of equipment for the 2020-21 season. The high-quality production in combination with the online platform resulted in a virtual event experience where participants felt they could be a part of the show. The conference achieved high rates of viewership and engagement through both days making for a highly successful sales conference.
