The City of Lethbridge operates a world-class curbside recycling program complete with a fleet of trucks, an advanced materials recovery facility, and even a custom app. The municipality reached out to Maven to help create a video to explain the program and a series of campaign assets to help promote the program to local residents.
The communications team at the City of Lethbridge had a clear outline of what needed to be in the video, and we worked closely with them to develop a production plan. We hired actors, filmed the facility and pickup process, captured drone footage, and worked with a voice over to record the script.
In addition to the footage and voice over, we developed a set of custom graphics for the video. This included designing a visual style, identifying where graphics would add value, and adding animation to bring it all together.
Once the video was completed, we worked with the city to develop a campaign to help educate residents. This included developing a media plan, budget, and overall campaign strategy. We then built out the campaign assets to align with the video, including animated and static social media ads, radio ads, print ads, truck banners, and outdoor signage.
